Our Initiative
Where our ideas become reality
We want to share what we’ve learned with the community and the world around us, whether it’s about renewable energy, off-grid living, managing holistically, raising happy animals from horses and chickens to goats and turkeys (don’t forget the rabbits, dogs and cat!) or growing vegetables in our market garden that goes beyond just “organic”.
Come visit us!
We offer guided tours of the ranch, showing you how we produce, store and consume our energy as well as taking you into the gardens to see how we grow food for ourselves and the community. Want to snuggle with a goat, carry a chicken or hug a horse (sorry, we don’t offer horseback riding)? That can all be part of the experience as well. We offer 1.5 to 2 hours tours in English or Spanish (or both!) for small and large groups alike, so please contact us to book in advance. Want your tour to be more focused on the energy part? Or the agriculture part? No problem, we can tailor the sharing to what you want to learn.

Buy your eggs and vegetables from Curly Creek Ranch!
If you want to feed your family eggs that come from happy, roaming chickens and vegetables lovingly grown without a drop of chemicals, then you’ve come to the right place! We offer eggs and vegetables year-round, either for local delivery in Irurtzun, Pamplona or San Sebastian, or you can come to the farm to pick up as well (and maybe even harvest it yourself if you like).
Immerse yourself in daily life at Curly Creek Ranch
Want to get away from the city and get a real feel for how it is to live holistically, off-grid in one of the most beautiful places in the world? We don’t blame you! And the good news is, you can!
There are two options for stays at Curly Creek Ranch. One is through Airbnb where we offer an apartment for rent that fits two people and a small child comfortably. Check out our Airbnb profile for more information and to book your dates. The other way is as a volunteer through WWOOF where you live and work with us for a month or more between June and November. Check out our profile here for more information and to book your dates. Book early because we only take two WWOOFers at a time and the summer months fill up quickly.
